Choreographer Amos Ben-Tal and his collective OFFprojects are opening up their creative process to curious minds. Under the heading ‘OFFsessions’ the group share their ideas, questions and methods in an intimate and engaging way.
In OFFsessions #7, the group will be examining the human need for systems. As people we constantly fluctuate between our desire for individuality and freedom and our need for strict social structures. We will look at the interplay between these opposing dynamics through the lens of choreography and movement. Amos and the dancers will share insights from their own practice as well as invite the audience to question, experience and reflect.
As part of this session the dancers of OFFprojects will perform the brand new work Triumvirate.
Visitors may enrich their visit to the OFFsessions by joining the movement class beforehand (recommended for people of all ages – no prior dance experience required!) or attend the OFFsessions separately.
